Riyad Mahrez has warned his Leicester City teammates that they cannot afford to take their eyes off the prize after moving another step closer to the Premier League title.
A straightforward 4-0 win over Swansea City on Sunday evening opened up an eight-point gap on closest challengers Tottenham Hotspur at the top.
The Foxes now have just three more games to go, beginning away at Manchester United next weekend, knowing that the most unlikely of achievements is now within touching distance.
Mahrez was quick to hail the sense of togetherness in the dressing room, which showed once more at the King Power Stadium as Leicester cruised to their 22nd league win of the season without the suspended Jamie Vardy.
"Now there are three games to go and we are closer but everyone is working for each other and it is a great team spirit," BBC Sport quotes the Algerian winger as saying.
"In this team we don't need just one player. We are really together with our team spirit and we work for each other. Sometimes I score, sometimes Vardy scores and sometimes Leo scores but we are a team. It is always a pleasure to play here. The fans are unbelievable.
"We are closer now but there are still three games to go and we have eight points more so it is all in our hands now so we have to stay focused. We are getting in the helicopter now with the others and we will see what happens tonight."
Tottenham play their game in hand over City at White Hart Lane tomorrow night when taking on West Bromwich Albion.
