Leicester City manager Sven Goran Eriksson has revealed that Owen Hargreaves could still join the club.
Hargreaves has been without a club since being released by Manchester United at the end of last season and has received a contract offer from West Bromwich Albion.
Eriksson recently agreed deals which saw Michael Johnson and Gelson Fernandes join the Foxes, but the Swede has insisted that there is still room for Hargreaves at the King Power Stadium.
"I finally spoke to him one week ago and he knows if he wants to come he is more than welcome," said Eriksson.
"We have not made an offer to him. We have taken in Johnson and Fernandes, so it is not a priority.
"Owen is a fantastic player if he is fit. If he wants to come he will phone me for sure."
Eriksson coached Hargreaves during his spell as England manager.
