Salomon Kalou is yet to have been approached by any Premier League clubs over a possible January transfer.
The Ivorian striker, who previously had a spell in England at Chelsea, has been linked with the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur during this month.
The 28-year-old, who has scored 20 goals in 47 appearances in Ligue 1 since joining Lille on a free transfer in July 2012, was thought to contain a buyout clause in his contract for a fee as low as £2m.
However, RMC reports that Kalou does not actually have any kind of buyout clause in his current deal, while Get French Football says that Lille are yet to have been contacted by any English club over the possibility of signing the player.
Kalou rejected switches to West Ham United and West Bromwich Albion in the summer.
