With Liverpool requiring a three-goal victory against Napoli on Tuesday in order to leapfrog them into top spot in Group A of the Champions League, Jurgen Klopp may be pondering making changes for the clash at Anfield.
The Neapolitans head to Merseyside on an incredible 13-match winning streak and are therefore unlikely to be beaten by such a margin, while Liverpool have a hugely important trip to North London to face Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Sunday.
Klopp cited fatigue and injuries as major reasons for their 2-1 defeat at home to Leeds United on Saturday - as well as their general inconsistency this season - with club captain and vice-captain Jordan Henderson and James Milner likely to replace Trent Alexander-Arnold and Fabinho on Tuesday having done so during the weekend's shock defeat to the Lilywhites.
Curtis Jones could be handed a start in midfield in place of Thiago Alcantara, who only recently returned from an ear infection, while Darwin Nunez's recent muscle strain could see him rested with Fabio Carvalho coming into the starting XI.
Ibrahima Konate is yet to feature since returning from a muscle strain last week and could start in place of Joe Gomez, who suffered a torrid evening against Jesse Marsch's side.
However, with Diogo Jota, Luis Diaz, Arthur and Joel Matip sidelined due to long-term injuries and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita not included in the club's Champions League squad due to carrying serious muscle issues until recently themselves, the Reds may not be able to rotate as much as they may like.
