Liverpool teenager Tyler Morton has been named in the starting lineup for Wednesday's Champions League clash with Porto.

The 19-year-old already has two EFL Cup appearances under his belt this season and came off the bench for his Premier League debut in the dying embers of Saturday's 4-0 win over Arsenal.

Jurgen Klopp was full of praise for Morton ahead of this game, and the Reds coach has now demonstrated his faith in him by naming him in the first XI for the visit of Porto.

Morton is joined in the engine room by Thiago Alcantara and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, while Takumi Minamino earns a start up top alongside Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.

Neco Williams has overcome a muscle issue to start at right-back, while Ibrahima Konate earns an expected start in defence next to Joel Matip.

Liverpool have already booked their spot in the last-16 of the Champions League, while Porto currently sit second in Group B - one point clear of Atletico Madrid.

Liverpool starting lineup: Alisson; Williams, Konate, Matip, Tsimikas; Morton, Thiago, Oxlade-Chamberlain; Salah, Minamino, Mane
