Sports Mole rounds up Liverpool's injury and suspension news ahead of Thursday's Europa League Group E clash with Toulouse.

Liverpool have the chance to guarantee a top-two finish in Europa League Group E when they reconvene with Ligue 1 side Toulouse at Stadium Municipal on Thursday night.

The Reds demolished their upcoming foes 5-1 at Anfield last month to remain perfect in the second tier of continental football, having also seen off Union SG and LASK Linz so far.

However, Jurgen Klopp's side lost their four-game winning streak on Sunday afternoon, where they were forced to come from behind to snatch a 1-1 Premier League draw at newly-promoted Luton Town.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Liverpool's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their clash with Toulouse, who are third in the group with four points to their name.

Virgil van Dijk

Status: Out
Type of injury: Illness
Possible return date: November 12 (vs. Brentford)

Virgil van Dijk has been left out of the Liverpool squad for Thursday's game due to illness, but Klopp expects him to return to full fitness for the weekend's clash with Brentford.

Ryan Gravenberch

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: November 12 (vs. Brentford)

Similarly, Ryan Gravenberch will not be risked at Stadium Municipal owing to a knee issue, but the Dutchman is on course to return versus the Bees this weekend.

Curtis Jones

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: November 25 (vs. Manchester City)

Curtis Jones sustained a low-grade hamstring injury in last week's EFL Cup win over Bournemouth, but Klopp expects him to make a full recovery after the international break.

Andrew Robertson

Status: Out
Type of injury: Shoulder
Possible return date: January 1 (vs. Newcastle United)

Andrew Robertson is recuperating from shoulder surgery after suffering a nasty dislocation while on Scotland duty in the last international break, and the left-back is not expected to return to action before the end of the calendar year.

Thiago Alcantara

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hip
Possible return date: January 1 (vs. Newcastle United)

Similarly, Klopp has revealed that Thiago Alcantara is also targeting a return in early 2024 as the Spaniard recovers from a pair of setbacks in his hip injury, which has kept him in the treatment room since April.

Stefan Bajcetic

Status: Out
Type of injury: Calf
Possible return date: Unknown

Stefan Bajcetic made a full recovery from his season-ending adductor problem before going down with a calf injury, and with the teenager's afflictions being related to his growth, Klopp cannot say when he will be back in action.
