Ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash between Liverpool and Cardiff City, Sports Mole looks at how Jurgen Klopp's side could line up at Anfield.

Liverpool head into Saturday's Premier League encounter with Cardiff City with the opportunity to move three points clear at the top of the standings.

The Merseyside giants have struggled for goals in their recent outings in the top flight, but Jurgen Klopp's team have not suffered defeat in the league this season.

Liverpool prepared for the game against the Bluebirds with a resounding 4-0 triumph over Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

Klopp has a number of selection dilemmas for this fixture, and here Sports Mole looks at how his side could line up against the Welsh outfit.

Out: Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (knee)
Doubtful: Jordan Henderson (hamstring), Naby Keita (thigh)

Klopp must decide whether to include Xherdan Shaqiri, who has contributed two assists over the past week and has generally impressed when linking up with the side's established front three.

The Switzerland international could potentially be used as the most advanced player in midfield, with Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino all keeping their places in the team.

James Milner should be recalled to the team in place of Fabinho - who played 90 minutes against Red Star - but Jordan Henderson and Naby Keita are likely to miss out through injury.

Klopp could also opt to make alterations to his backline, with Joe Gomez having played 90 minutes on three occasions for club and country since October 15.

That could result in Dejan Lovren coming back into the side, with Trent Alexander-Arnold keeping his role at right-back.
