Sports Mole rounds up all of Liverpool's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash with Brighton & Hove Albion.
Sports Mole

Liverpool will endeavour to secure their fifth win in a row across all tournaments when they welcome Brighton & Hove Albion to Anfield in the Premier League on Saturday.

The Reds made history with their remarkable 5-0 thrashing of Manchester United last weekend, with Mohamed Salah bagging a hat-trick while Naby Keita and Diogo Jota also got in on the act.

Jurgen Klopp's side sit second in the table - one point behind leaders Chelsea - as a result, and they eased to a 2-0 success over Preston North End to advance to the quarter-finals of the EFL Cup in midweek.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Liverpool's injury and suspension news ahead of the contest.

James Milner

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: November 20 (vs. Arsenal)

James Milner tweaked his hamstring against Man United last weekend and had to be taken off in the first half. The veteran midfielder is now not expected to return to action until after the next international break.

Naby Keita

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Shin
Possible return date: October 30 (vs. Brighton & Hove Albion)

Naby Keita left the Old Trafford pitch on a stretcher after a nasty challenge from Paul Pogba last week, but the midfielder has only suffered bruising and could make the cut this weekend.

Fabinho

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: October 30 (vs. Brighton & Hove Albion)

Fabinho has missed victories over Man United and Preston after picking up a knee problem, and Klopp does not expect the midfielder to return in time for this clash.

Thiago Alcantara

Status: Out
Type of injury: Calf
Possible return date: November 3 (vs. Atletico Madrid)

Thiago Alcantara sustained a calf injury against Crystal Palace last month, and while he is "almost" ready to return to the field, it will probably not be this weekend.

Harvey Elliott

Status: Out
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: Unknown

Harvey Elliott continues to recuperate following his serious ankle injury and will hope to return to action before the season concludes.

Caoimhin Kelleher

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Illness
Possible return date: October 30 (vs. Brighton)

Caoimhin Kelleher missed out on the opportunity to earn some valuable minutes against Preston due to illness and remains a doubt for this game, but he would not have started anyway.

LIVERPOOL'S SUSPENSION LIST

Liverpool have no players suspended for this match.
