Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho has said that the presence of Luis Suarez at the club has helped him settle.
The 20-year-old Brazilian, who was signed from Inter Milan in January, feels that the Uruguayan's influential role at the club has played a part in allowing him to adapt very quickly to life at Anfield.
"He speaks to me in Spanish. He always asks me to help my teammates by marking opposition players - he's always asking me to improve my marking," the Daily Mail quotes Coutinho as saying.
"Suarez is a fantastic player and it's an honour to play with him. Together I hope we achieve great things for Liverpool. He's excellent, always on the move during the game, and helps you open the defence more easily.
"I'm quite shy, but having players like Steven Gerrard and Lucas Leiva is making me feel welcome and it is a huge boost for me."
Coutinho also recently stated the importance of European football for the Reds next season.
