Former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has praised Liverpool for 'hitting the jackpot' with their appointment of Jurgen Klopp in 2015.
The 52-year-old has completely transformed the Reds since replacing Brendan Rodgers four-and-a-half years ago, most notably guiding his side to Champions League success last season.
Liverpool also opened up a 25-point lead atop the Premier League prior to the coronavirus pandemic bringing a halt to proceedings, having recovered from last term's near miss.
Answering fans' questions during a Twitter Q&A, Fabregas admitted that he has been impressed by the way the Merseyside outfit have allowed Klopp to go about his business.
"[They're an] outstanding club that hit the jackpot hiring Klopp and giving him the right players and time to build something very special," he said when asked for his opinion on Liverpool.
Fabregas won five major honours during his time in English football and is now playing for Ligue 1 side Monaco.
