Liverpool are reportedly feeling confident that striker Daniel Sturridge will be fit for the club's Premier League encounter with Swansea City one week today.
The 24-year-old has been ruled out of England's crucial World Cup qualifier against Ukraine tomorrow night due to a thigh injury following his absence from the Three Lions' 4-0 win over Moldova.
The former Chelsea striker returned to Merseyside this week to undergo medical treatment, and with one week left to go until Liverpool take on the Swans, it is believed that Sturridge could be fit for the clash, according to the Liverpool Echo.
While the Reds may be able to call on Sturridge, who has scored in all three of Liverpool's Premier League games this season, reports have claimed that defender Glen Johnson could be out of action for 10 weeks.
