Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has expressed his gratitude towards former manager Kenny Dalglish after the Scotsman was dismissed from the club yesterday.
The 61-year-old was sacked from Anfield after a disappointing season in the Premier League, where the Merseyside outfit finished in eighth place and 37 points behind Manchester United and title winners Manchester City.
Suarez wrote on Twitter: "Kenny thank you very much for all your help and things I learned from you during 1 year and a half! A big hug and good luck!"
The Uruguayan international received the full support of Dalglish throughout the club's most difficult period of the season when the frontman was banned for eight matches for racially abusing Manchester United defender Patrice Evra.
