Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Andrew Robertson will make his debut for the club during Saturday's pre-season friendly with Hertha Berlin.
Robertson joined the Reds from Hull City in a deal worth a reported £10m last week but did not link up with his new teammates until their return from the Premier League Asia Trophy in Hong Kong.
However, the 23-year-old will appear in a Liverpool shirt for the first time tomorrow as the Premier League outfit play the first of a three-game tour to Germany.
Asked whether Robertson would make his debut, Klopp told the club's official website: "Yes. Tomorrow is a game where we will use all the opportunities we have to change because we have four games in one week from tomorrow onwards, so we have to deal with it.
"Tomorrow we will give all the players we take with us the opportunity to play – and that includes Andrew also.
"A few boys will stay here and do a bit of recovery work, or what they need to do – maybe some running! Then we have games on Tuesday and Wednesday, then Saturday again. We will deal with the intensity, but tomorrow all of the boys we take with us will play."
Klopp also confirmed that Sadio Mane will be part of the matchday squad, having recovered from knee surgery.
