Swansea City manager Brendan Rodgers believes that his side have made a "step forward" after their 0-0 draw against Liverpool at Anfield.
The draw against Kenny Dalglish's side has kept the newly-promoted side in 10th place in the Premier League table.
"I thought today we made another step forward," Rodgers told Sky Sports News. "We've played a big team today.
"I felt coming in to the game today we were better equipped. We've had 10 games in the Barclays Premier League and I felt that we've now got the confidence to compete at this level so to come here and perform like that was obviously fanstastic.
"I said to them afterwards that there aren't too many teams that play at Anfield and get clapped off at the end so that was a nice gesture."
