Liverpool will be aiming to pile even more pressure on Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table when they welcome Leeds United to Anfield for Wednesday's encounter.

The Reds were handed a scare against Norwich City after Milot Rashica's opener but ultimately prevailed 3-1 thanks to Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz's efforts.

Following Manchester City's shock 3-2 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur, Jurgen Klopp's side now find themselves six points adrift of the reigning champions with a game in hand.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Liverpool's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their clash with the Whites.

Diogo Jota

Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: Unknown

Diogo Jota was pictured on crutches after damaging ankle ligaments against Inter Milan in the Champions League, and with the extent of the 25-year-old's injury still unclear, he will miss out in midweek.

Roberto Firmino

Status: Out
Type of injury: Muscle
Possible return date: Unknown

Roberto Firmino suffered a muscular injury before the win over Norwich, and Klopp has revealed that the Brazilian will be sidelined for "a while" with the issue.
