Aston Villa and Fulham are reportedly interested in signing Juventus full-back Andrea Cambiaso.
Juventus signed the 24-year-old from Genoa in the summer of 2022, before they immediately sent him out on loan to Bologna.
After making 34 valuable appearances during his time with Bologna, he returned to Juventus for the start of the 2023-24 campaign.
Cambiaso has since established himself as a constant presence in Massimiliano Allegri's side, contributing three goals and five assists in 30 appearances.
With Allegri preferring to use a 3-5-2 formation, Cambiaso has showcased his versatility to operate as a wing-back on both the left and right side of the pitch.
Having impressed during the current campaign, the Italy international is believed to be attracting interest from the Premier League.
According to Calciomercato, Aston Villa and Fulham are both showing an interest in signing Cambiaso in the upcoming summer transfer window.
While the Premier League duo may have identified Cambiaso as a potential target, they have a tough fight on their hands if they are to prise him away from the Allianz Stadium.
Juventus are believed to be keen to retain the defender's services and it would take a significant bid for them to consider sanctioning a sale.
Cambiaso has three years left on his current contract, but the Italian giants are hoping to extend his deal on improved terms.
Premier League duo on the lookout for reinforcements
With Aston Villa closing in on Champions League qualification, they appear to be preparing to upgrade the right side of their defence.
Matty Cash has started 21 Premier League games this season, but Emery does not appear to be fully convinced by the Poland international.
On occasions this season, the Villa boss has preferred to use centre-back Ezri Konza on the right side of the backline, highlighting a need to recruit a new full-back ahead of the 2024-25 campaign.
Fulham could be in the market for a new left-back, with uncertainty surrounding the future of Antonee Robinson and Fode Ballo-Toure.
Robinson is said to be attracting interest from Liverpool, while Ballo-Toure is set to return to AC Milan when his loan deal expires at the end of the season. body check tags ::
