Jarrod Bowen has reportedly come to an agreement with West Ham United over a new long-term contract.

The 26-year-old has been in impressive form for the Hammers during the 2023-24 campaign, making eight appearances in all competitions, scoring five goals and registering two assists.

Bowen's existing deal with David Moyes's side is due to expire in June 2025, and there has recently been speculation surrounding his future at the London Stadium.

Both Liverpool and Newcastle United are said to have been keeping tabs on the forward amid suggestions that he could be available in the not too distant future.

However, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Bowen has now come to an agreement with West Ham over a new long-term contract.

Romano claims that the attacker has 'said yes to the final proposal', having been desperate to remain as a 'key part of the project' at the club.

Bowen has scored five goals and registered one assist in seven Premier League appearances this season, while he has one assist in one Europa League outing.

The forward made the move to the Hammers from Hull City in January 2020, and he has represented the club on 166 occasions, scoring 45 goals and registering 33 assists in the process.

Bowen has been capped on four occasions by England, meanwhile, and he has earned a recall into the Three Lions squad for the upcoming internationals with Australia and Italy.

Speaking ahead of West Ham's league clash with Newcastle United on Sunday, Hammers head coach Moyes paid tribute to Bowen's progress since his arrival at the club from Hull.

"When he was signed from Hull, I was phoning the people who I knew there. They said he plays on the right, in the middle, he doesn't like it on the left. So, when he came he wasn't ready, he was still getting used to the Premier League, but he is now sharper, quicker, he can ride challenges," said Moyes.

"He is still not ready yet [to be a number nine], and probably there is the history here of Marko Arnautovic from a winger to a centre forward, and Michail Antonio, but it hasn't been an easy market to find a centre forward.

"What he can do is score. Can Jarrod be a number nine? We are still sort of in the manufacturing stage to see if we think that can happen."

Bowen famously scored the winner in last season's Europa Conference League final against Fiorentina, with West Ham posting a 2-1 victory to land the trophy. body check tags ::
