Liverpool 'have no interest in signing Aaron Ramsey from Juventus'

Liverpool have supposedly not opened talks with Aaron Ramsey over a move from Juventus, contrary to previous reports.

Liverpool reportedly have no current interest in bringing Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey back to the Premier League.

The Wales international has struggled under Andrea Pirlo this term and is rumoured to be eyeing up a return to English football.

Reports earlier this week indicated that Liverpool, who are expected to lose Georginio Wijnaldum to Barcelona, had been eyeing up Ramsey.

However, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has shot down those rumours on Twitter, insisting that there has been no contact between the two parties as of Friday.

It is claimed that a move to the Premier League is indeed possible for the 30-year-old this summer, but not necessarily to Liverpool.

Ramsey spent 11 seasons with Arsenal before joining Juventus in 2019, where he has gone on to make 61 appearances in all competitions under Maurizio Sarri and Pirlo. body check tags ::
