Liverpool are reportedly ready to give Luis Suarez a pay rise in order to keep the striker at Anfield.
The Reds' hierarchy are worried that a number of top players will want to leave the club following the sacking of manager Kenny Dalglish on Wednesday.
The 25-year-old could now be offered a new £100,000-per-week deal to stay on Merseyside, according to The Sun.
Suarez, who was signed by Dalglish in January 2011, tweeted his thanks to the Scot on Thursday.
