Liverpool winger Sadio Mane has said that he "would be happy" to see Nabil Fekir join the club from Lyon this summer.
Reports emerged on Sunday that the Reds had come to terms over a deal in the region of £60m for the 24-year-old, who is understood to be free to leave Lyon should a suitable offer arrive.
Jurgen Klopp laughed off the speculation when quizzed about it in his post-match press conference following his side's 1-0 defeat to Chelsea, but Mane believes that the France international would be a very good signing for the club.
"He is a top player, we would be happy seeing him with us. If he comes he'll do great things with us. Yes, it will be like fire if he comes," Mane told SFR Sport.
Fekir, who has scored 22 goals across all competitions this season, has also been linked with Chelsea, Arsenal and AC Milan.
