Anderlecht striker Dieumerci Mbokani has revealed that he would like to secure a move to the Premier League this summer.
The 27-year-old scored 17 goals in Belgium last season, which is thought to have alerted a number of scouts from European clubs.
However, despite admitting that he would consider a switch to Serie A, the centre-forward has admitted that England would be his number one destination.
"I am very happy to leave the club on a good note, now I need to think about my next move," said Mbokani. "England will be my first choice, but Italy also.
"I will soon be there to have a talk with the club. I heard about the interest of Liverpool, but nothing is concrete so far, it is paper talk."
As well as Liverpool, four other Premier League clubs - West Bromwich Albion, Aston Villa, Everton and Sunderland - have all been linked with a move for the DR Congo international.
