Aston Villa reportedly face competition from several Premier League clubs in the race to sign Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey.

The 23-year-old, who has been frequently linked with a move to England, has contributed 39 goals and 26 assists during a successful period in Germany.

Villa are said to be the frontrunners for the Jamaica international and are prepared to pay in the region of £30m for his signature.

However, 90 min claims that four clubs are prepared to rival Villa's interest, including East Midlands outfit Leicester City.

Everton, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Southampton are also admirers of the player, who has two years remaining on his contract.

Liverpool could emerge as contenders for Bailey if a number of Jurgen Klopp's backup players depart Anfield this summer. body check tags ::
