Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has warned potential suitors that Kylian Mbappe is not for sale, nor will he be allowed to leave for nothing.
The 22-year-old is about to enter the final 12 months of his deal with Mauricio Pochettino's side, and talks over an extension are yet to bear fruit.
Liverpool and Real Madrid are thought to be monitoring Mbappe's situation as the clock ticks on his time in Paris, with the latter supposedly keen to sign him as a 'gift' for returning manager Carlo Ancelotti.
However, PSG president Al-Khelaifi is not prepared to lose one of the club's most prized assets, telling L'Equipe: "I will be very clear: Kylian Mbappe is going to stay at PSG. We will never sell him, and he will never leave for free."
Mbappe has seen his teammate and fellow forward Neymar commit his future to PSG, but as things stand the World Cup-winning Frenchman will become a free agent at the end of next season.
The former Monaco man struck 27 goals in 31 Ligue 1 games last season and will play a key role at Euro 2020 for France, who are considered the early favourites for the crown.
