Real Madrid join Manchester City and Liverpool in the race for Red Bull Salzburg teenager Benjamin Sesko, according to a report.

Real Madrid are reportedly hoping to beat Manchester City and Liverpool to the signature of Red Bull Salzburg starlet Benjamin Sesko.

The 18-year-old has already established himself as a key player at the tip of the Austrian champions' attack, registering seven goals and three assists from 16 games in all competitions this season.

Sesko's bright start to the campaign has earned him links with both Man City and Liverpool, but according to AS, Real Madrid are also in the hunt for the Slovenia international.

The report claims that Los Blancos view Sesko as an ideal successor for Karim Benzema, with the Frenchman turning 35 next year and due to become a free agent in 2023.

However, Real are still thought to be plotting moves for both Erling Braut Haaland and Kylian Mbappe, with the latter confirming that he asked to leave Paris Saint-Germain earlier this summer.

Sesko is under contract at Salzburg until 2026 and has already earned five caps for the Slovenian national side.
