Real Madrid are eyeing a summer move for Liverpool right-back Glen Johnson as his future at Anfield becomes increasingly uncertain, according to a report.
The Telegraph claims that Los Blancos boss Carlo Ancelotti is looking to capitalise on stalled contract talks between the England international and the Reds to seal a deal for the 29-year-old.
It is believed that Liverpool are reluctant to offer Johnson more than the £110,000 a week that he currently earns and Real could lodge a £5m bid in the forthcoming transfer window.
Ancelotti is said to see Johnson as a realistic target with doubts emerging over the future of a former Liverpool player, Alvaro Arbeloa.
Johnson was part of Liverpool's side that beat Cardiff City 6-3 in the Premier League on Saturday.
