Liverpool have reportedly not given up hope of keeping hold of teenage winger Rafael Camacho, amid strong interest from Premier League rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The 19-year-old has been linked with a move to Wolves after supposedly turning down the offer of a new contract at Anfield.
Camacho is said to be targeting more regular first-team football at the highest level, which he has not been offered by Liverpool this season, and Wolves are looking to pounce on the uncertainty surrounding his future.
According to Portuguese outlet Record, however, Liverpool will attempt to fend off interest in the former Sporting Lisbon youth product as they see him as a star of the future.
A five-year contract is rumoured to have been offered to Camacho, who will enter the final 12 months of his existing deal at the end of the season.
