Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Marcelo Brozovic and have already opened talks with the Inter Milan midfielder's agent.
The 27-year-old has been a regular for Inter over the last five seasons, racking up 155 Serie A appearances since arriving from Dinamo Zagreb.
Brozovic is soon to enter the final two years of his contract, however, and it recently emerged that he has a rumoured £52m release clause in his deal.
According to Italian newspaper Libero, Liverpool are eyeing up a move for the Croatia international after scouting him in February's Milan derby at San Siro.
Other big-name clubs have been credited with an interest in Brozovic, including Spanish giants Real Madrid.
