Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has indicated that he expects there to be a number of departures from Anfield before the end of the transfer window.
Several players, including Mario Balotelli and Fabio Borini, have been linked with a move away from the club, and Rodgers has admitted that it is a "natural" part of the transfer window before it closes at the end of the month.
The 42-year-old told reporters: "It is natural at this stage of the season. There will be move for some players. I think what is clear is that every player is of the understanding of exactly where he stands within the squad.
"The spirit is strong, the spirit is fine. It is a difficult situation because of the transfer market and it is still open for the rest of this month.
"There is always going to be that speculation but I am sure that there will be some movement for the players who want to pay."
Since the end of last season, Liverpool have signed seven players, while also allowing eight members of the first-team squad to exit the club.
