Livingston have gone into half time of the Scottish Challenge Cup final 1-0 up as Scott Pittman easily finished past Craig McDowall to give Mark Burchill's side the advantage against Alloa Athletic.
Alloa came close to opening the scoring 10 minutes into the game as a Kevin Cawley's free kick was headed on by defender Mark Docherty, forcing a fine save from Darren Jamieson in the Livingston net.
However, the Lions thought that they had a valid penalty claim after Pittman was bundled over by Michael Doyle, with referee John Beaton waving away the appeals.
Livingston did make the breakthrough on the 25-minute mark, as Myles Hippolyte got the better of his man on the left-hand side, squaring to Pittman who had the simple task of putting it past McDowall to make it 1-0.
Alloa responded well to the goal, creating a couple of decent opportunities, but some poor finishing keeps them behind at the break.
