Real Mallorca have moved into second spot in La Liga following a 2-0 win over Valencia on Sunday.
It was the home side who started the better and they took the lead after eight minutes when Victor finished from close range after good work from Tomer Hemed.
Valencia had chances in the opening period, notably through Roberto Soldado, but it was Mallorca who scored their second via Javier Arizmendi early in the second half.
Jonas and Soldado both had chances for the away side in the latter stages of the match, but it remained 2-0 with Valencia dropping into 13th.
