Sports Mole rounds up Manchester City's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Tuesday's Champions League showdown with Olympiacos.

Manchester City will be aiming to continue their perfect start in the Champions League when they welcome Greek giants Olympiacos to the Etihad Stadium for Tuesday evening's showdown.

The Citizens have already dispatched Porto and Marseille with ease in Group C - scoring six and conceding just one - and Pep Guardiola's men will have one foot firmly in the knockout stages with a victory on Tuesday.

City go into the game following a hard-fought 1-0 win over Sheffield United in the Premier League, with former Blade Kyle Walker notching up the only goal at Bramall Lane on Saturday.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up City's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the visit of Olympiacos.

Sergio Aguero

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: November 21 (vs. Tottenham Hotspur)

Sergio Aguero is currently nursing a hamstring problem - sustained in City's draw with West Ham United - and the Argentine was not involved against Sheffield United. Guardiola confirmed that Aguero is progressing well but is not back training with the group just yet.

Gabriel Jesus

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: November 3 (vs. Olympiacos)

City's other recognised striker, Gabriel Jesus, is struggling with a thigh problem but is getting closer to a return to action. The Brazilian has an outside chance of featuring on Tuesday after progressing well in his recovery.

Fernandinho

Status: Out
Type of injury: Leg
Possible return date: November 21 (vs. Tottenham Hotspur)

Fernandinho was forced off with a leg problem in City's maiden 2020-21 Champions League game against Porto. The veteran will not take to the field for Guardiola's men until after the next international break.

Benjamin Mendy

Status: Out
Type of injury: Muscle
Possible return date: November 21 (vs. Tottenham Hotspur)

Benjamin Mendy remains on the treatment table with a muscular issue and is set to be out for another three weeks, but the recent returns of Nathan Ake, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Aymeric Laporte have eased Guardiola's worries in defence.

MANCHESTER CITY'S SUSPENSION LIST

Man City have no players suspended for Tuesday's showdown with Olympiacos.
