Manchester City striker Wilfried Bony has said that attack may be the best form of defence ahead of Tuesday's Champions League clash with Barcelona.
The Catalan giants travel to Eastlands for part one of their last-16 tie with the Sky Blues, and Bony says that an offensive gameplan is key to earning a first-leg advantage.
"We don't look at Barcelona and think they are a big club. This is a match between two big clubs," he told The Express. "They have great players, but we won't look at that. We will just focus on our team, our performance and our way of playing.
"We know we need to score here but we also know they can score at any time. We will play to win, not to draw. We want to win every game but there are some things you can't control. If we start quickly against Barca we could have the perfect night."
Manuel Pellegrini's side warmed up for the encounter with a 5-0 demolition of Newcastle United on Saturday, while the Blaugrana lost 1-0 at home to Malaga.
