Manchester City defender Vincent Kompany has admitted that his side were far from their best in their draw against Roma in the Champions League.
The Citizens were held to a 1-1 draw at the Etihad Stadium as Francesco Totti cancelled out Sergio Aguero's fourth-minute strike from the penalty spot.
Kompany has conceded that he was pleased to take the point as he believes that his side didn't put a good enough performance to earn all three in the Group E clash.
"We didn't play as well as we could, definitely," Kompany told reporters. "You just have to look at these games sometimes and say, 'It's a point'.
"But this is the Champions League, and if you don't perform, you shouldn't expect more from it. It wasn't our best performance apart from the spell towards the end.
"We couldn't even hold on to the lead. But there is still a lot to play for and I think we can get a good share of those 12 remaining points."
City are currently third in Group E and trail leaders Bayern Munich by five points after two matches.
