Arjen Robben has said that Bayern Munich played "terrific football" during their 3-1 win over Manchester City this evening.
The Dutch international scored the third of the German side's goals in a comfortable Champions League group stage victory at the Etihad Stadium.
The 29-year-old told Sky Sports News: "Especially for the first 70 to 80 minutes I think we played some terrific football and we were so dominant against such a big side in Europe.
"I think also we didn't expect an easy game like that but I think it's a big compliment to our team. I also expected a little bit more from City, but we can be happy, if you play such football you can only enjoy.
"We didn't give them any space, we pressed them forward. Sometimes they gave us a little t0o much space. I think we are a team that can use this space very well."
The reigning European champions top the group.
