Manchester City captain Yaya Toure has expressed his delight following his side's 5-2 victory over CSKA Moscow in the Champions League.
The Ivorian was quick to praise the club's fans, who he believes set a positive example of how to support a football team.
"It's amazing, it's history for the club. The front two are working well, they are sharp and play well together," BBC Sport quotes him as saying.
"We must say thank you to the fans today, they showed the fans of CSKA how to support a team. Today is a special day. The target is to go as far as possible."
Sergio Aguero scored twice and Alvaro Negredo claimed his first City hat-trick as the Sky Blues cruised to victory at the Etihad Stadium.
