Goalscorer Patrick Bamford has admitted that Middlesbrough's 2-0 FA Cup scalp of Manchester City will live long in the memory of the club's fans and players.
Chelsea loanee Bamford bagged Boro's opener before Kike's stoppage-time second saw the Premier League champions dumped out at home in the fourth round.
"An unforgettable day for us and the fans," Bamford is quoted by saying by BBC Sport.
"We went through some tough tests, the keeper kept us in it at times. The scruffy goals are the goals I love. As a team we were magnificent."
Bamford's parent club Chelsea were knocked out by third-tier Bradford City on a day of FA Cup shocks.
