Wigan Athletic captain Gary Caldwell has admitted that his side's FA Cup win will give them the confidence to survive in the Premier League this season.
Caldwell said that beating Manchester City 1-0 was a big achievement for the club, but that they could not celebrate until after they manage to stay up.
"Look at the fans, what it means to them! It's a fantastic achievement for a club like ours," Caldwell told BBC Sport.
"This is incredible. The whole of Wigan are here today and I'm so proud - I thought we were unbelievable today. Hopefully this gives us a great boost going into next week.
"We've still got two big games to come. If we play the way we played today on Tuesday and next Sunday I've no doubt we'll still be in the Premier League next season."
Ben Watson scored in the last minute to give Wigan a last-gasp victory.
