Manchester City midfielder James Milner is hopeful that his side can win the FA Cup at the weekend in order to maintain their trophy momentum.
City meet Wigan Athletic in the final at Wembley on Saturday, having already surrendered their Premier League crown to rivals Manchester United.
Having won the cup back in 2011 and followed that up with last year's league win, Milner insists that it is important for the club to win a trophy three years in a row.
"You want to keep that momentum of winning trophies, and win as many medals and trophies as you can," Milner told ESPN. "The FA Cup is a great tournament - we won it once and hopefully we can do it again."
The two sides meet at Wembley tomorrow afternoon.
