Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri has apologised to supporters after his side were knocked out of the FA Cup by Wigan Athletic.
Despite the Frenchman getting on the scoresheet, City were unable to book a place in the semi-finals of the competition after succumbing to a 2-1 defeat at the Etihad Stadium.
The Capital One Cup winners now have the Premier League and European action to focus on as they try to overturn a 2-0 deficit to Barcelona in the last-16 of the Champions League this week.
Nasri wrote on Twitter: "Dissapointing performance from us, sorry to the fans let's focus on wednesday and the league."
Wigan defeated City to win the FA Cup in the final at Wembley last season.
