Manchester City are beating Leicester City at half time in their League Cup quarter-final clash.
The first chance of the match went to the Premier League side. A move saw Jack Rodwell escape in the box and the midfielder tried to slide a shot past Kasper Schmeichel, but the goalkeeper was out quickly to make a save.
However, Man City were soon in front as Aleksandar Kolarov bent a 30-yard free kick past Schmeichel.
The only downside to the their start was an injury to Pablo Zabaleta that forced him off. Dedryck Boyata was the one chosen to replace him.
It was nearly 2-0 with 25 minutes played. Kolarov broke down the left before playing a long ball to Edin Dzeko, who appeared to have a simple tap in, but Schmeichel again saved the home side, Rodwell then dragged the rebound wide.
Leicester continued to struggle and Kolarov again showed off his left foot, this time hammering a half volley at goal which Schmeichel pushed away.
Navas then picked out Rodwell down the left, but his control was clumsy and his curling effort went wide of the post.
The second goal arrived for Manuel Pellegrini's side just before the break. James Milner was slipped in and managed to send in a cross from the left, where Dzeko was waiting to head past Schmeichel.
