Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini has confirmed that Jesus Navas will miss Wednesday's League Cup semi-final first leg against West Ham United through injury.
The Spanish winger suffered a knock to his knee during Saturday's 1-1 draw with Blackburn Rovers in the FA Cup third round.
"Jesus Navas has a little problem with his knee," Pellegrini told reporters. "It's not very important, but we are just being cautious."
Sergio Aguero, Stevan Jovetic and Jack Rodwell all remain injured for the Blues ahead of the match at the Etihad Stadium.
