Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson has lamented his side's "small mistakes" against Manchester City in the quarter-finals of the League Cup.
An Edin Dzeko brace and a strike from Aleksandar Kolarov proved enough for Manuel Pellegrini's side to get the better of the Foxes 3-1 at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday.
"They were probably too good for us," BBC Sport quotes him as saying.
"Looking at the first goal, it was a great strike, but the second and third goals were disappointing from our perspective.
"When you play against sides as good as Man City you have to give yourself the best chance. We got punished for small mistakes."
Lloyd Dyer scored for Leicester in the 77th minute.
