Manuel Pellegrini has revealed that Sergio Aguero suffered a shoulder injury in Manchester City's 3-0 win over West Ham United in the second leg of their League Cup semi-final.
City strolled to victory over the two legs with a huge 9-0 aggregate scoreline but Pellegrini said that the Argentina forward hurt himself during the game.
He told Sky Sports News: "This match was useful for Sergio, as he played 60-plus minutes. He had some problems with his shoulder though.
"We will look at it tomorrow and see [how it is]. I hope he is not in pain, but we don't know what it is, and we have cover."
Manchester United entertain Sunderland in the second semi-final on Wednesday evening.
