Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko has revealed that it was an 'easy decision' to sign a new contract with the Premier League champions.
The 28-year-old penned fresh terms at the Etihad Stadium last month, extending his stay with the club until 2018.
After becoming a key part of Manuel Pellegrini's squad during the past year, Dzeko admits that he did not have to think twice about committing his future to City.
"I am happy at City, the manager believes in me, which is certainly important, and I give my all on the pitch and altogether it means quite a lot to me, because Manchester is a club with great ambitions and I easily decided to stay put," he told the club's official website.
Dzeko scored 26 goals in all competitions last season as City clinched the Premier League title and the League Cup.
