Manchester City midfielder Fernando has revealed that the player he looks up to most is Yaya Toure.
The Brazilian joined the Premier League champions in June for a fee of £12m from Porto and will be vying with Toure for a place in the club's midfield.
"I've always admired Yaya," he told the Manchester Evening News. "But the team is made up of great players.
"When I was growing up my favourite players were Gilberto Silva and Mauro Silva, but now it is Yaya."
Fernando has played three times for the Brazil Under-20 side, but he is yet to make an appearance for the senior side.
