Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart has said that the club's signings of Raheem Sterling and Fabian Delph will help to improve the England team.
Delph's move to City was confirmed on Friday, while Sterling arrived three days earlier.
"England will benefit with the two boys coming here. I just see them as great signings who will do well for us," Hart told the Daily Mirror.
"But it can only bode well for England too with our players playing for successful sides. If they are playing at a high level it makes it easier for Roy Hodgson to pick them.
"Fabian can hold down a place here - comfortably. He's a player that's been around for years. He had a few injuries at Villa but he came back from them and he's really flourished in the past two years."
Delph has made six appearances for England since making his debut in 2014, and Sterling has 16 caps, scoring one international goal.
