Manchester City match-winner Kelechi Iheanacho insists that the former champions will go all the way in the Premier League this season after his first goal for the club kept up their perfect start to the season.
The 18-year-old scored the only goal of the game in injury time within 54 seconds of coming on as a substitute against Crystal Palace on Saturday to secure City's fifth win from five games this season.
Manuel Pellegrini's side are yet to even concede this season, and their new young hero is sure that they will have reclaimed their Premier League crown by the time May comes around.
"It means so much to me [to score]," Iheanacho told the club website. "I am happy and very grateful and I thank the manager for introducing me.
"The fans went crazy when I scored. We are all happy. I will try to do my best in in training and in games if I am introduced. I am hoping to do great for the team.
"We are much stronger this season with quality players. We are going to go all the way."
City's attention now turns to their opening Champions League group game, a clash with Italian champions Juventus at the Etihad on Tuesday night.
