Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany could reportedly return to action earlier than scheduled.
The 27-year-old missed Belgium's World Cup qualifiers against Croatia and Wales with a thigh injury that he suffered in City's 3-1 win over Everton on October 5.
The centre-back was initially ruled out for four weeks, but it is understood that Kompany could make a surprise early return.
The defender could come back into manager Manuel Pellegrini's side for this weekend's Premier League clash against West Ham United, or he may wait until next week's European encounter with CSKA Moscow, according to The Express.
City are currently fifth in the Premier League table.
