Manchester City have reportedly identified Roma forward Erik Lamela as a potential summer acquisition.
Roberto Mancini is believed to have sent scouts to watch the 20-year-old, who joined the Giallorossi from River Plate in the summer of 2011.
The Argentine international has notched an impressive 11 goals in 19 Serie A appearances this season.
According to the Daily Mail, Lamela is seen as a replacement for Scott Sinclair, who is said to be heading for the exit door at the Etihad Stadium.
The same paper also reports that the Italian coach is monitoring his Roma teammate, 18-year-old Brazilian centre-back Marquinhos.
