A spokesman for Borussia Dortmund has said that the club will make no comment on reports suggesting that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could be closing in on a move to Manchester City.
On Tuesday, it was claimed that the in-demand striker was in advanced talks with the Premier League club, but the official line coming from Dortmund is that they 'know nothing' of the suggested deal.
Sascha Fligge told DPA: "We know nothing. We don't know anything about the story and we will not comment on the countless summer rumours."
It has been previously claimed that Aubameyang has attracted the interest of other English sides, including Manchester United and Arsenal, but Pep Guardiola's City appear to be favourites to sign the 26-year-old.
City announced last week that they had completed the transfer of Aubameyang's Dortmund teammate Ilkay Gundogan.
